[Tokyo Comic Con 2019] Information on products and sales method [INSTINCTOY / Booth-E-001]

We will be exhibiting at Tokyo Comic Con 2019, which will be held at Makuhari Messe from November 22nd to November 24th this year.

It is the 3rd time that we join TCC. Every year, many customers visit our booth and this year, our booth has increased by 30% in size.

There is a sales and gallery space inside the booth, to offer our customers a special environment during their visit.

Our exhibition area has even more to offer. We will showcase new works and reveal new projects, as well as display many samples.

INSTINCTOY is also one of the sponsors of Tokyo Comic Con this year.

Now, let us get to the main point. We have prepared a lot of products for Tokyo Comic Con this year.

We will be offering lots of different products, many of them are Tokyo Comic Con exclusives. Therefore, we have divided our sales method into three kinds, in order to not cause confusion.

We would like to introduce our first sales method, <<First-come-first-served>.

The items included are mainly small to medium sized figures of 6,500 Yen or less. We will also offer 2 special Tokyo Comic Con exclusive items: SPACE MOLLY2019 INSTINCTOY limited color and a special limited color Fluffy (clear ver.) set, including an INSTINCTOY LOGO original clear bag.

In addition, we will sell some mini-figures and pin badges, which were sold in the past, at a special price. Please do not miss out on this opportunity. Each category within the <first-come-first-served> product list has a different limit on the number of purchases. Details will be disclosed at our booth on the day(s) of the event. You can line up for our first-come-first-served products as many times as possible during the event.

The second sales method is <email pre-lottery>.

The first 50 winners of the <venue lottery sales> each day, which are scheduled to be held on the first and second day of the event, will be determined in advance via email lottery.

The third sales method will be the <venue lottery on the day(s) of the event>.

These are lottery products mostly over 6,500 Yen with a focus on original products from INSTINCTOY, as well as Tokyo Comic Con EXCLUSIVE products by artists and manufacturers with whom we have the chance to work with. These products are also divided into three categories in order to provide as many people as possible with a chance to get their hands on one of these items. Customers who have been selected as a winner of the lottery can purchase up to 1 item from each category, up to a total of 3 items (selection restrictions for each category).

Next, we will explain the sales method for <1. First-come-first-served> and <3. venue lottery on the day(s) of the event>.a little bit more in detail.

<First-come-first-served Sales Method>

If you would like to purchase our first-come-first-served products, please line up according to the image plan down below. Our staff will distribute wristband type numbered tickets in ascending numerical order, starting from the first customer. The sales will be carried out according to the reference numbers on the wristband tickets.

Product shelves are installed along the dotted spots shown in the image. The product shelves display products with a focus on mini figures that cost less than 5,000 Yen. Please select your desired products within the purchase limit and proceed to the order reception window (A). Similarly, customers who would like to purchase a set of SPACE MOLLY2019 INSTINCTOY limited color and/or our special limited color Fluffy (clear ver.) with the INSTINCTOY LOGO original clear bag, can order these items at (A). The order for the selected product(s) will be accepted at the reception desk at (A) and an order confirmation note will be issued. After you have received the order confirmation of the product(s), please proceed to the cashier counter (B). This is where you will receive your goods in exchange for your payment.

<Please note>

・ The attached wristband type ticket will be collected at the cash register. Please note that the ticket becomes invalid if it was removed.

・ You can line up as many times as you like within the sales time, but only one wristband can be worn per person. If you wish to line up again, please ask the staff at the end of the line to receive a numbered wristband ticket again after you have completed your purchase.

・ Please note that the first-come-first-served sales are carried out according to the order of the numbered tickets. If you do not come to our booth when it is your turn, the order may change, and we might be unable to serve you according to your number.

<About the venue lottery on the day(s) of the event>

We will begin distributing wristband lottery tickets to the customers who wish to participate in our lottery sales on the day(s) of the event. Please line up in the first-come-first-served line. While you are standing in line, our staff will distribute and attach wristband lottery tickets to customers who wish to participate in the lottery, starting from the top of the line.

If you are wearing a wristband lottery ticket and you do not wish to purchase the first-come-first-served products, please proceed to the cashier counter (B) along the blue arrows shown in the image.

If you have received a lottery ticket, please proceed to the staff who is waiting in the center of the cashier [lottery number registration], and register your lottery ticket there. In order to successfully participate in the lottery, you must complete two steps: “receive and attach a lottery ticket” and “register your lottery number”. Only then your <<<<< Lottery registration is completed >>>>.

A maximum of 1,000 lottery tickets will be distributed on each day. The distribution takes place for 2 hours, starting from the opening. The distribution will end as soon as the deadline is reached, or the maximum amount of lottery tickets have been distributed.

The lottery sale event will take place on the first and second day of Tokyo Comic Con (November 22nd and November 23rd). Please have a look at the schedule for each day.

<First day of the event: November 22nd>

Venue opening time: 12:00

Lottery ticket distribution time start: 12:00

Lottery ticket distribution time end: 14:00

Distribution amount: 1,000 tickets (maximum)

Winners announcement: 15:00

Sales start time: 15:30

<Second day of the event: November 23rd>

Venue opening time: 10:00

Lottery ticket distribution time start: 10:00

Lottery ticket distribution time end: 12:00

Distribution amount : 1,000 tickets (maximum)

Winners announcement: 13:00

Sales start time: 13:30

<Lottery Sales Participation Rules>

・ Customers under the age of 15 cannot participate in the lottery. If necessary, we may ask you to confirm your ID.

・ Purchase with the intention of reselling is strictly prohibited.

・ Distribution of wristband lottery tickets will be limited to the first 1,000 people (per day).

・ Only one wristband-type lottery ticket per person.

・ INSTINCTOY staff will put on the wristband lottery ticket for each customer on either wrist.

・ Customers are not allowed to break the wristband off or take it off. If the wristband has been taken off or defaced, we will disqualify the entry. Please keep it safe.

・ After wearing the wristband, the lottery application registration will be completed when the number is presented at the counter.

・ Even if you wear a wristband, customers who do not have a registered number will not be able to participate in the lottery.

・We will announce the lottery winners on the same day and post the pictures of the winners’ numbers on our FB/Instagram/Twitter. Please check these places to see the results.

We will also put the winners’ announcement sheet on the notice board at our booth for the customers who are unable to access our announcement page on the internet. We would appreciate it very much if customers could check the lottery results on the internet to minimise congestion at our booth. 

Please line up according to the order listed on the winner announcement sheet. We are planning to open 2 checking counters. Please follow the instructions of the staff.

To shorten the waiting time, we will limit shopping time to a maximum of 3mins per customer. We estimate that around 25 customers can make their payment within 30mins. The time schedule for every winner will be set according to this estimate.

・The winners can purchase up to 1 item from each category, up to a total of 3 items (selection restrictions for each category).

・Multiple purchases of the same product are not possible. Customers can purchase a maximum of one piece, of any one item.

・ The maximum shopping time per person is 3 minutes.

・ Purchases for other persons are prohibited. Therefore, customers are not allowed to use a mobile phone while shopping at the cash register.

・ Customers should decide what to order by themselves. Please do not consult or contact other people at the order desk.

・Our stocks are limited. We will close our sales when all the products are sold out.
